  • May 11th, 2020 - Registration Opens
  • May 15th, 2020 – Registration Closes
  • May 22nd, 2020 – Final Submission Deadline (each event may vary)
  • May 29th, 2020 – Competition Ends, Winners Announced

Event Format:

Once registered online at www.SkillsCanadaSask.com, competitors will follow the contest description and submit their projects as described in the contest description above by the listed deadline. Questions regarding the contest description can be sent to the PTC contact person indicated on your event contest description.

Please note: late submissions sent after the date and time specified above will not be accepted.


During Virtual Skills Competitions safety is #1. The health, safety, and welfare of all individuals involved with Skills Canada Saskatchewan are of vital importance. Safety is a condition of participation with Skills Canada Saskatchewan and shall not be sacrificed during virtual or off-site competitions.

All competitors must fill out and submit a Virtual Skills Competition At-Home Safety Checklist. This checklist can be submitted along with your project submissions. Submissions will NOT be judged if the completed Safety Checklist is submitted. 

All Competitors must download, read and sign the 2020 PROVINCIAL VIRTUAL SKILLS COMPETITION RELEASE FORM found on the top right corner this page.  Competitors who are under 16 years old must have parental consent to participate.

Ethical Conduct:

We recognize that participants will be competing individually in their own unique environments and therefore not all competition conditions can be monitored. However, we expect all competitors to compete fairly, respecting and abiding by the established rules in the true spirit of Skills Canada Saskatchewan. This is an “on-Your-Honour” competition.

Competition Results and Progression:

The 2020 Skills Saskatchewan Virtual Skills Competition is a stand-alone event and does not progress to another level of competition (Such as Skills Canada National Competition). Medals will be awarded to gold, silver and bronze placements (packages will be sent in the mail after May 29th, 2020.  A full ranking of competition results will be posted online at www.skillscanadasask.com

Letter of Participation:

Competitors who fully participate in the 2020 Skills Saskatchewan Virtual Skills Competition are eligible for a Letter of Participation. All participation letters will be mailed out after the competition ends.
